Don't Let Your Project Get Lost in Scattered AI Conversations

Code generation is getting faster, but in a long-term project, what you lose most easily isn't the code—it's the direction.

When you constantly switch between multiple chat windows, Agents, and tasks, the hardest questions to answer a week later are usually: Where is the project right now? What exactly was changed last time? Which results have been validated? What should be done next?

Smarter Agents won't automatically save your project state

A single conversation can complete a single task, but it can rarely sustain a product that spans weeks, with constant interruptions and resumptions. Chat logs are filled with process details, but what truly determines if a project can move forward are the goals, the current stage, the definition of done, the evidence of changes, and the next steps.

SoloMap is a roadmap and execution cockpit that runs inside VS Code. It doesn't replace Codex, Claude Code, Antigravity, GitHub Copilot CLI, or OpenCode. Instead, it puts your chosen local Agent back onto a visible path of progress.

From a single goal to verifiable progress

  1. Register a real project. Select your local project in VS Code and write down the actual goal you want to achieve right now.
  2. Generate a complete roadmap. Use Build, Sell, Learn, and Improve to see that a product is more than just "finishing features."
  3. Select the current stage. Restrict this round of work to a closed-loop result and clearly define the completion criteria.
  4. Launch your own Agent. Call your existing local Agent CLI directly from the current stage, without having to replace the tools you are already familiar with.
  5. Review real evidence. Keep execution logs, file changes, and validation results right next to the stage, rather than just accepting a simple "done."
  6. Leave a seamless handoff. After an interruption, resume from confirmed facts, remaining risks, and next steps without having to re-explain the entire project.

The roadmap is no longer just a plan, and chat is no longer the only memory

SoloMap saves the roadmap in .solopreneur/roadmap.csv within your project, allowing state changes to be viewed and managed alongside your code. Stage goals, completion criteria, execution summaries, and handoff records combine to form the usable context for the next round.

This means you retain control over direction and trade-offs, while the Agent handles execution. When execution finishes, the results return to the project instead of disappearing into another chat window.

You control the project and keep your choice of tools

SoloMap is open-source under the MIT License. The core roadmap and execution logs are saved in your specified local project path. When you use external Agents, marketplaces, authorizations, or optional remote capabilities, those services still follow their respective data boundaries. SoloMap doesn't promise that Agents will never make mistakes; it helps you put boundaries, evidence, and handoffs in a place that's much easier to inspect.

Start with your first real stage

Install SoloMap from the VS Code Marketplace, open a project you are currently working on, generate your first roadmap, and then select a stage with clear completion criteria to get started.
